Creating the Colorway for Your Next Project

Donation: $75 +3(fees)$78 (plus cost of materials if pre-purchased from instructor)

Create a personal colorway and dye yarn or roving to knit, crochet, or spin into your next project. Consult an array of dyed wool swatches and choose up to seven dyes for your own colorway — no more wishing a braid had a little more of a color.
Bring your own animal fiber yarn or roving to dye, or pre-select undyed wool yarn/roving to purchase from the instructor (see the Wool Acid Dyeable list and the Acid Dye Color Choices sheet). Deadline to pre-select purchase items is October 2 — email waywardfiberarts@gmail.com directly with your class and item selections; payment for pre-selected items is made on the day of the workshop.
Bring an apron or clothing that can get stained with dye, and something to work on during downtime while your dye sets.
Instructors: Pam Tsiokanos, founder of Wayward Fiber Arts and current past-president of the Seacoast Spinners and Weavers Guild, with over 15 years of dyeing experience; and Denise Smith, wool acid dyeing instructor.
